Is this random impulse a part of a larger story? It reads like it could be a part of a thriller. I was really interested in finding out why the girl was at the strip club, and now I want to know who she plans on assassinating. Even though she is only nineteen, why is she complaining that she is uncomfortable to be at a strip club, yet she is about to plot to kill a political leader? And she says that "business was business and I needed to eat." Her character sounds a bit heartless, but also seems like there probably aren't a lot of things that bother her, since it sounds like she is about to kill someone so she can get paid. Her ruthlessness is a bit contradicted when it is said that she has to feed the cat and "guess who comes first." Does she mean that the cat comes first? So, she is willing to murder so she can feed her cat? Is this how the character's personality is supposed to be? Maybe I am just a little confused by that part. I like how the character's straight spine is equated with being as straight as a stripper pole, since the character was in fact at a strip club. To me, I could not picture something as serious as a plot to assassinate a politician being held at a strip club. I think horny 40-year-olds would know that the strip club is not a place where their kind can concentrate on something important. All in all, I would definitely want to read more of this assassin's story.
